NOXANADU

Hi all! It has been a while since I've posted. I made this when I got the time to (as in, I stayed up to make said time) and was really happy with the outcome. It definitely was not my cleanest work; you can see where I forgot to clean up the lineart, but I feel like I've improved in some aspects--I definitely feel more accustomed to the tablet than I did before. It was also partly inspired by the fact that Valentine's Day is imminent. I guess this serves as my early Valentine's post, then--I don't expect that I'll have enough time to make another drawing for then u_u

This is the first "real" "polished" drawing I've made on my Wacom CTL-4100 tablet I got from a mutual. I came back to FireAlpaca, which I've used many years ago but never fully mastered. I've still got a ways to go with coordinating my drawing comfortably--I'm still so used to the instant feedback I get from drawing on a phone with my finger, but I really like the familiar feeling of using a pen to draw. I also appreciate that I have a wider physical interface as opposed to a tiny phone screen. I hope to be able to practice more on it in the future!

Wow! It feels weird to have finally made a functional site here on Neocities. It's been something I've been meaning to get to for a long time but then I got swamped with school and also kept putting it off in favor of click-and-drag alternatives (strawpage). No more excuses though. Here's to actually following through on my promised projects! Though I wonder if anyone will actually read these. Regardless, I think blogging would be fun to archive my progress and just see how I grow (unless I do the opposite, in which case that would be pretty embarrassing).
